About Bethel Church

His Misson, Our Misson

Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church is a gathering of ordinary people who are trying to stay centered on living like Jesus, for Jesus, and in the power of the Spirit of Jesus. We call this the Way of Jesus. We believe God has called us to be a family of followers of Jesus, deeply invested in our community and the world around us, so that each person can flourish as God intended. That's the inspiration clearly marked out in the life of Jesus, the One we are living for.

Who We Are

We strive to be a family where people are able to grow both personally and as a community. Our desire is to see people fall passionately in love with God through a relationship with Jesus Christ and then serve Him with the gifts they have been given.

We are committed to serving both our community of Hanna and around the world.

Centennial

We celebrated our Centennial on July 30, 2022 during our morning worship service with our regional Pastor Lynn Dietz followed by Souper Sunday fellowship and a birthday cake. A weekend celebration was held on Sept. 30 - Oct. 2 with an evening of desserts and fellowship with former congregants. On Saturday Oct. 1, we toured the 5 original churches as seen in the pictures. This was followed by a banquet in our newly renovated basement and a program in the main sanctuary. We welcomed former congregant Pastor Kervin Raugust to speak at our Sunday morning service and concluded our Centennial celebration with a full house for Souper Sunday.
